Judith Hill will lead a wonderfully eclectic collection of LA’s best R&B, Gospel, Soul, and Rock 'N Roll musical acts-- as well as some athlete-artists, who will be revealed later. All in the family, Hill brings her highly celebrated band, which includes her father Pee Wee Hill on bass guitar, and her mother Michiko Hill on keyboards.
A Los Angeles native, Hill broke through while working with Michael Jackson on This Is It, and has collaborated with artists including Josh Groban, John Legend, and Prince. She was a standout on The Voice and featured in the Oscar-winning documentary 20 Feet From Stardom, which also won a Grammy Award for Best Music Film.

Hill has released numerous singles and albums, including 2021’s Baby, I'm Hollywood! She has performed at dozens of the world’s premiere performance venues and athletic events, including halftime shows for the LA Chargers and San Francisco 49ers; National Anthem performances for the Oakland Raiders, Kansas City Chiefs, and at the 2021 NBA Finals; and most recently, as a featured artist at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest. “Judith Hill is the perfect headliner for our inaugural Legends Jam,” said Max Siegel, CEO of USATF. “Not only is Judith an LA native, but the deeply powerful personal themes she explores in her music directly align with the core elements of track and field that inspire these events: equality, community, and inclusivity.” “Our event is about the soul of the sport,” said Bob Brisco, CEO of Internet Brands/WebMD, a major sponsor. “We will highlight youth athletics and athlete development, while jamming with the best artists in the entertainment capital of the world.” Brisco added, “Our track meet at Drake Stadium will have the finest athletes in the world. Our concert will have one of the finest vocalists and artists in the country. I’m grateful that Judith is getting the party started.” “I’ll just be returning from my European tour, and I’m delighted to be part of this event in my hometown,” said Hill. “The nature of these Olympic athletes and their performances are inspiring to youth communities in LA and across the country and the purpose of this event really speaks to my heart. I can’t wait.”
