USATF Los Angeles Grand Prix FAQ
Are there assigned seats?
Seating is by section, not by specific seat number. On the day of the event(s), you can choose seats within your section group (platinum, gold, or silver), based on the events you are interested in (sprints, throws, jumps, distance, etc). If you are a platinum purchaser, we will email you to get your event preferences in advance, after checkout.
For the main meet, when would I arrive on Saturday, May 27?
We recommend arriving between 12:00 pm - 12:30 pm to find your seats and explore the venue. There will be exciting masters and other events starting earlier, around noon. The main competitions will be kicked off with the national anthem at about 1:15 pm. The meet will end at about 3:15 pm with fan appreciation events, hosted by the athletes until about 4:00 pm.
How will I receive my tickets?
All tickets are digital. You will receive a digital token to present at admission.
Are tickets refundable or transferable?
Unfortunately, no. Tickets are not refundable or transferable.
Where does the money from ticket sales go?
The vast majority (essentially all) of ticket sale revenue goes directly to athletes in terms of prize money, travel expenses, and to USATF general athlete development programs. Proceeds from the Legends Jam will also support youth charities.
Are the tickets tax deductable?
Since all the events are being administered by non-profit organizations, such as the USATF, and all revenues are being used for athlete and youth development, a portion of the ticket price may be tax-deductible. Please consult a professional tax advisor on this matter.
Do tickets include parking?
No. UCLA charges $17.50 for immediately adjacent covered parking. There are cheaper alternatives with a bit of a walk and public transportation options available, as well.

Are the Premium tier ticketing packages worth it?
Yes (for sure), if you can afford it. While sight lines are good for most seats, the premium tiers offer increasingly intimate and unique proximity to the greatest athletes in the world. The viewing preferences link is indicative and illustrative of the differences in proximity.
