Judith Hill

Judith Hill dazzles with one of the best voices of a generation.   Her powerful, soulful voice, dynamic range, and epic performances alongside Prince, Josh Groban, John Legend, Rod Stewart, and many others is the stuff of legends.  With Prince, she recorded her 2015 album “Back in Time” at Paisley Palace.  She was the frontrunner in NBC’s The Voice and won the Black Reel Award for Outstanding Original Song.

Judith won the Grammy Award for her work in the film 20 Feet From Stardom, which documents her rise to fame.  In 2009, she became Michael Jackson's duet partner for the song "I Just Can't Stop Loving You".  After Jackson's death, she performed at his memorial service, attracting global attention, singing “Heal the World".

Hill is a Los Angeles Native, tours Globally, and often performs with her parents.  She is fluent in English, Spanish, French, and Japanese.  Her latest album will drop later this year.

Michiko Hill

Michiko Hill, born in Tokyo, trained as a pianist, and known to the world as an absolute wizard on the keyboards, is Judith’s Mom.   Her play is characterized by use of complex, layered textures and her ability to seamlessly blend elements of funk, jazz, and rock.  Her keyboard solos are often intricate and technically demanding, with a remarkable sense of groove and infectious rhythms that drive the music forward.

Robert "Peewee" Hill

A native Angelino, Peewee Hill played for many years with Billy Preston, while becoming a fixture in the LA club circuit playing with his wife.  Peewee’s virtuosity on the bass guitar is mind-blowing.  After almost 5 decades of collaboration, his musical chemistry with his wife is indescribable - and now they form the backbone of Judith’s funk-on-steroids band.

Donald Taylor & Harmony

Donald Taylor, the director of Harmony,  is a legend in the L.A. Gospel community.  He’s the founder of The L.A. Mass Choir, which lived high up on the Gospel music charts.

You likely haven’t heard gospel like you will at the Legends Jam - a blend of pop, soul, funk, and gospel that is almost hard to describe.  His choirs have worked with countless Superstars, including Neil Diamond, Gerald Albright, Tevin Campbell, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Christina Aguilera, and Patti LaBelle. He’s been nominated for many Stellar, Grammy, and Gospel Music Excellence Awards.

Donald brings his 30 best and most powerful singers this afternoon.  Singing with unbridled passion and conviction, the harmonious blend of their powerful voices, soaring melodies, and pulsating rhythms create an energy that reverberates.  Their voices carry us on a journey of discovery, reminding us of the beauty and complexity of life, and the transcendent power of music to unite, heal, and uplift. It is an experience that is difficult to put into words, but one that touches the soul and leaves an indelible mark on our hearts and minds.
